General Service Questions
When will we have to begin paying for my subscription? back to top
The billing date for all paid subscriptions is the first day of every new month. Your paid subscription will begin on the first day of the month that proceeds the end of the free trial subscription period.
How will we be notified that our subscription needs to be paid? back to top
We will mail an invoice to you on the first business day of the month.
NOTE - We bill quarterly instead of monthly for this service. Payment is due within 30 days of date of invoice.
How do we cancel our subscription? back to top
You may cancel your subscription at anytime by notifying us that you wish to cancel by way of e-mail. However, the cost of the subscription is not prorated.
How long does it take to activate our subscription? back to top
On a Monday through Friday basis, 9AM - 5PM CST a subscription will be activated within one hour after you submit the 'Try For Free' form. You will receive a notification by e-mail that your subscription has been activated.
We do not want our customers to read 'Notices to our Employees. back to top
We recommend that your webmaster place an unobtrusive text link - 'Notices to our Employees' at the bottom of your organization website. The font size should be no larger than #2. #1 or #2 size will work just fine. If you cause the employee to login to your database system to read current notices, you are risking the possibility that the employee cannot remember the login information. Your employee will remember your organization website home page URL, but may not remember login information. It is also possible that an employee will not have an e-mail address to receive the notices by way of e-mail. We strongly recommend that you make it as easy as possible for your employees to access notices directed to them.
How do we send notices to our employees? back to top
There are two ways you can provide notices to your employees. After your subscription is activated, your email notification will provide you with a URL and a username/password that you will utilize to access your administrative 'Control Panel'. You will select 'Manage Messages'. On a batch basis, you can submit a common message to 'current' employees, 'former' employees, or both 'current and former' employees. The messages you e-mail to employees on a 'batch basis' also render on your 'Notices to our Employee's' page. The notices on this page render on a descending basis and the are date and time stamped. The most current message will render at the top of the list. There is an 'Edit' function that enables you to make corrections to any notice that you have not already deleted. You can also e-mail 'private messages' to 'selected' employee's as well.
Can we download our employees contact information? back to top
You can easily download a file that contains either 'current' employee or 'former' employee contact information. The file is in ASCii, comma-delimited format and can easily be saved to your local system and imported into numerous application such as Excel.
How do we update our subscription details? back to top
Your control panel has a command that will enable you to update your subscription details including changing your subscriber email address and change your password.
How do our employees update their contact information? back to top
Your 'Notices to our Employee's' page has a command that will enable your employee's to update their contact details. You will receive e-mail notice that contains those updated details whenever an employee updates their contact information.
Is our employee contact information secure? back to top
The information your employee's transmits to your database is secured by a GeoTrust SSL Certificate which provides 256 Bit encryption. This technology guarantees both message privacy as well as the contact information in the database is secure.
